Local Elections 2025

On the 1 May 2025, voters in 24 of England councils will be choosing who will represent them in local government.

This is different to general elections, where we elect MPs to represent us in decisions made in parliament for the whole country.

Local elections are important because it’s here that decisions are made about the services that we all rely on day-to-day – including social care, accessible transport and leisure centres, as well as police, education and roads.

My Vote My Voice is here to make sure that everyone has the information and support they need to take part in the local elections.
